Clamp Generator
A free CSS clamp() generator that helps developers and designers build fluid typography and responsive layouts without manual slope-and-intercept math.
The challenge
Writing CSS clamp() values by hand means calculating slope and intercept for every property, at every breakpoint — tedious, error-prone, and easy to get wrong across a whole design system.
Our approach
We built two focused calculators: a Font Size & Typescale generator for fluid typography, and an all-in-one Layout generator covering width, height, margin, padding, and gap (including logical properties), plus guides and a blog, with full light and dark theme support.
The outcome
Clamp Generator is live and in active use by developers and designers who want fluid CSS values instantly, without doing the math themselves.
